Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo, from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk, a prominent actor, director, producer, playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories when she was at rehearsals for play with her mom. Silk featured in a number of commercials while she was young. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009 and were married at an unofficial ceremony in December. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk's TV work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the show would return in the production. The fourth season premiered on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) among their top TV couple. Entertainment Television.
